Blogs are an essential communication tool to engage and inspire brand engagement. The right turn of phrase can conjure an emotional attachment to a brand or product and ease potential customers down the sales funnel.

So why are so many of them drab, bland and lazy, cynically pushing a product or littered with errors? It’s unforgivable and showcases your brand in the worst possible light.

I write blogs and long form articles for dozens of clients in multiple markets. I know how to capture attention and then captivate readers with imagination, humour and knowledge.

I oversaw a rethink of the way children’s products are sold by Australian Geographic and wrote fun, imaginative descriptions that boosted sales by 16%.

I also wrote them for Southern Star Dental and King Living.

Writing award nominations is an art form. Unfortunately, many worthy winners are let down because they can’t express their brilliance to the judges, or they make textbook errors that mean they don’t even get shortlisted.

And writing them properly takes time you just don’t have!
